Regional Manufacturing Quality MED will be an integral part of the Regional Quality and Regional COO Leadership team and will improve sustainable Change in the business.

Responsibilities

  • Regional Manufacturing Quality MED in conjunction with Regional Quality Team and Regional COO Team, will supervise, define and implement strategic quality initiatives to the region.
  • Will advise Business Leaders on their organization Quality metrics through trailing and up-to-date indicators, while providing solid recommendations for improvement on those metrics.
  • Secure effective and efficient non-conformity management & quality before delivery.
  • Secure compliance to specifications of products and processes and contribute to the alignment and standardization of quality across the business area.
  • Secure quality capable processes for manufacturing in the factory (according to VDA 6.3 e.g. during NPI, Tech Transfer projects or in serial production).
  • Will coordinate sharing of best practice through knowledge transfer across the value chain and countries of the business unit and will share the knowledge and lessons learnt with the Global function.
  • Develop implementation plan of Regional Quality goals and initiatives and direct Regional Quality implementation projects (PFMEA, Control plan etc..)
  • Ensure that Regional Quality milestones and leading/lagging indicators are monitored and reported, taking action to achievement of targets. Analyze Q KPIs CTQs, DPU, FPY, RTY, NC, CoPQ etc... developing improvement plans. Direct / contribute to performance reviews in the region
  • Promote "customer first" culture in the region
  • Provide advice and guidance to management team on any Regional Quality regulatory aspects
  • Train people within relevant area of expertise to develop competences
  • Network with other Regional Quality departments and with functional manufacturing quality Head to ensure sharing the implementation of best practice.
  • Overall supervision of regional CoPQ projects and quality improvement projects. Utilize and sponsor quality resources and projects in different parts of the organization (e.g. EBSC or QSE)

 

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience in Business or Engineering field

  • Established technical background, specifically blades and composite materials
  • Leadership and people management skills. Efficient collaboration and communication skills; managerial courage
  • Demonstrated Lean Skills. Lean / Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (Black Belt desired) practitioner
  • Fluent in English
  • Budget and Finance acuity

  • Action to address risk and opportunities. Planning/implement quality goals and planning changes"
  • Guide the teams. Leadership and commitment towards the regional manufacture quality 
  • Performance monitoring, measurement, analysis, and evaluation and internal audit
  • Detect deviation and provide corrective action and improvement action. Timely scale problems if necessary
  • Stakeholder Management and effective communication
  • Communicate as contact person to global and other Heads of Quality Manufacturing in the regions
  • Ensure quality management system effectiveness in region. Continual improvement management system and process maturity.

 

Availability to travel 40%
