About the Department The HSE department helps the business execute the company strategy while maintaining a safe, compliant, and zero-harm work environment across our operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership for regional HSE programs and processes, acting as a key point of contact for HSE topics

• Coordinate continuous regional improvement, development, and effective implementation of global and regional HSE initiatives

• Continually assess emerging HSE risks and control effectiveness across the region, facilitating proactive action alongside regional and global functions

• Establish and ensure a consistent, aligned implementation of HSE management systems across the site and region

• Support and guide team resources to build a proactive HSE culture throughout the value chain

• Monitor performance and compliance, intervening or stopping processes and actions whenever HSE standards are not met

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of direct experience in a similar HSE role, primarily in the industrial or manufacturing sector

• Technical background/engineering degree or solid technical foundation in occupational risk prevention (Riesgos Laborales); a practical, technical approach rather than solely administrative management is required

• High level of English (written and spoken) is essential

• Extensive operational, on-the-ground experience

• Thorough understanding of national HSE regulations and safety standards

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) or HSE

• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification (desirable)

• Mobility and flexibility for territorial travel as needed

• Geographic Flexibility & Mobility: Based in or willingness to relocate to the Daimiel area, with genuine readiness for regional and territorial mobility as required by the business

• Operational Agility & Professionalism: Capacity to perform effectively in a demanding industrial plant environment and manage both immediate plant requirements and long-term strategic priorities
