Vestas is currently looking into a big transformation of the finance domain, where SAP ECC will be migrated to S/4HANA and re-engineered for the future operating model of Vestas. You will be the leader of a team of highly capable IT specialists and architects, where everyone is relied upon to move Finance and Vestas into the next digital age. Digital solutions own the enterprise architecture and needs to ensure quality and best in class deliveries with a short term focus on establishing a scalable new intelligent ERP platform.

Responsibilities

In Digital Technology Solutions we develop and deliver digital products and platforms to connect Vestas across our enterprise. We drive scalability, agility, and efficiency through an integrated architecture and ensure a seamless digital employee experience at Vestas. In Digital Technology Products & Platforms we build and deliver the backlog and technology vision for the defined products. In Digital Finance we own the finance roadmaps and deliver on those from the product teams organized around Finance, Controlling, Treasury and Legal.

In our Finance setup we are SAP centric around the current SAP ECC solutions supported by other finance solutions. We have an ambitious multiyear roadmap shaping the future of finance including new technologies such as SAP S/4HANA. Solutions are to be designed, implemented and operated to achieve the goals in the Finance vision.

As the Finance Tech lead you will play an important and leading role in the definition of the future roadmap and ensure high quality operations, and the architecture activities to be delivered in the coming years. You will be entering a team of 11 senior tech leaders with direct reporting line to VP of Digital Technology of Products and Platforms. We aim for world class collaboration and sparring across the value chain, and your team and collaboration mindset is crucial for success in the role.

• Translate the business requirements to tech vision and roadmap for the finance product area together with the product area architects and lead engineers.
• Managerial and budget responsibility for the finance together with your Business area lead.
• Oversee how the product teams are staffed and developed for the associated finance product areas.
• Ensure career path for your team in various global locations, you will also be managing a team lead and their team in Manila.

Qualifications

To fulfill the position, you have at least 5-10 years of experience combined with a relevant education within the area of finance and or IT.We envision that you have experience or are familiar with the following:

• Experience in leading a team of architects organized in product teams.
• Experience in and knowledge of key integration points with SAP FICO and other SAP modules, including COPA, ML, SD, MM, PP, PM, PS.
• Experience with S/4HANA is a big plus.
• Good presentation skills.
