Finance > Group Financial Performance > Financial Planning

The Financial Planning department holds the task of ensuring continuous financial performance focus through transparent reporting and value-focused recommendations for Vestas senior management. Our department serves as a natural hub between Vestas' senior leadership and the business areas' Financial Performance management teams. In this role you will thus be working with senior stakeholders across the full Vestas value chain.

 

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Manage recurring 18-month Rolling Forecasting & Reporting activities (P&L, Cashflow & Balance) including preparing management reporting to the Group's senior management
  • Develop and communicate the Group's Financial Performance management framework, including Review cycles and templates; planning calendars etc
  • Oversee the annual planning processes towards stakeholders and ensuring the supporting system infrastructure is in place to support the financial planning
  • Play a key part in maintaining and improving the Group's Anaplan financial planning system to support Vestas' performance management processes and deliver user-friendly interfaces
  • Support on performance deep dives across the value chain and ad hoc request

 

Qualifications

To meet the expectations of this role, we believe that you bring the following experience:

  • Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in finance, controlling, or comparable fields
  • Experience with Financial planning and reporting processes from a global enterprise
  • Further, good understanding across P&L; Balance sheet & Cash flow accounting in combination with a keen motivation for Performance Management are prerequisites for delivering in this role
  • Experience from an FP&A function in an international setting
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing

  • A focus on refining own performance and the team's deliverables and accountability for the team's tasks
  • Proficient commercial understanding and a thrust for shareholder value creation across the value chain - towards peers in Finance as well as other key functions
  • You show an active interest and curiosity in the Vestas value chain - and use this as an entry gate to form your network
  • Lastly, we expect you to exercise solid communication and stakeholder management skills - ensuring alignment across functions and being capable of engaging with senior leadership in Vestas
