To complement our team, we are looking for a Specialist / Senior Specialist to join our Corporate Finance Team.

 

Finance > Treasury > Treasury & Banking Solutions
Vestas Group Treasury is a diverse team of 20 highly skilled individuals responsible for managing the Group's financial risk. We are seeking a candidate to join our Corporate Finance Team, responsible for funding, credit rating, capital structure and bank strategy.

 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate long-term funding initiatives in the bank- and corporate debt capital markets
  • Responsible for the update of the EUR 3 billion Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN) program
  • Serve as the primary contact for credit rating agencies
  • Maintain our Credit Rating Model and support the development of the Corporate Finance Model
  • Contribute to the overall bank strategy and support long-term intercompany funding initiatives
  • Support the sourcing of guarantee lines
  • Provide advice to senior management and Group functions on Corporate Finance related topics and day to day operational support and ad’hoc reporting

 

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in corporate finance and treasury, from a multinational corporate, a financial institution, accounting or advisory firm
  • In-depth understanding of global financial markets, financial instruments, and capital structures. Familiarity with corporate debt markets and instruments such as Euro Medium Term Notes.  Knowledge of credit rating processes and direct interaction with credit rating agencies
  • Awareness of financial regulations and compliance requirements relevant to treasury operations in multiple jurisdictions
  • Strong proficiency in financial modelling and analysis tools. Experience with treasury management systems and other related financial software
  • Document Management Skills: Proficiency in managing, updating, and maintaining loan documents and other financial agreements. This includes a keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal and regulatory standards, as well as the ability to collaborate with legal and financial teams to review and amend terms as required

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders and manage relationships
  • Ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns and make data-driven decisions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and tactically
  • Project Management Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects, particularly in areas related to finance and capital markets initiatives
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse, multinational environment, understanding and respecting different perspectives
  • Commitment: Interest or experience in initiatives supporting sustainability, especially in the context of financial operations and strategies
