You will join the Vestas Group FP&A team, located in Copenhagen. Our main purpose is to ensure continuous financial performance focus through transparent and value focused recommendations for Vestas senior management. The department operates in a busy, international environment with cyclical forecasting and ad hoc deliverables. The department serves as a natural hub between Vestas' senior leadership and the business areas' Financial Performance management teams, thus you will be exposed to stakeholders across the full Vestas value chain in the pursuit of continuous performance improvement and delivering on the Group's strategic plans. In this role you will truly contribute to the global process by acting as the primary data partner within financial planning and performance.
Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Oversee continuous automatization and best practice focus of data flows in recurring Forecasting and Performance reporting processes
- Data owner and superuser: Own recurring data load processes for Forecasting and Performance reporting as well as managing access rights and system user roles
- Identify, call out and ensure resolution of issues impacting efficient execution of monthly financial planning, as well as long-term financial planning & annual target-setting
- Act as data and process Single Point of Contact for the department towards Vestas' Digital organization
- Anaplan application owner: Promote Anaplan's standard methodologies, stay informed of new features and releases and collaborate with Finance Business partners and other key stakeholders to ensure Anaplan solutions address business requirements and effectively enable finance to deliver business insights
- Facilitate Design Board process to define, set project objectives, critical metrics, scope and cascade strategy for the Anaplan platform development
- Manage platform development by conducting design sessions, gathering requirements, providing status updates, delivering solutions – including undertaking minor application changes yourself
Qualifications
To meet the expectations of this role, we believe that you have the following experience:
- Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science or a related field
- Good understanding of financial business processes and requirements
- Substantial professional experience from a similar role or scope
- Demonstrated ability in building & managing a financial planning solution, such as Anaplan or a similar application – and keen interest in further developing these skills
- Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing
