The Commercial Strategy and Business Development team is one of four functions in the global commercial area. Our team is responsible for enabling the long-term commercial success of the company by shaping the overall commercial strategic direction and by identifying and enabling new business opportunities. In collaboration with stakeholders from across the company, the team combines market insights, financial analysis and customer understanding to set commercial priorities and ensure that the commercial strategy is translated into actionable business plans.

Responsibilities

As a senior specialist we expect you to be able to undertake the following tasks:

• Develop, document and cascade commercial strategy in collaboration with commercial leadership teams and other key stakeholders
• Facilitate the commercial input to Vestas annual planning process, representing the commercial area
• Develop frameworks and facilitate activation of strategy in regional / functional contexts
• Prepare & coordinate commercial input & strategic recommendations to Executive Management

Qualifications

• University degree in business administration, economics, engineering, or similar
• Demonstrated experience leading strategic processes and managing complex stakeholder landscapes
• Comfortable interacting with senior leadership, directing decisions and guiding complex discussions in an efficient, fact-based manner
• Knowledge of industry dynamics from financial, competitive, operational, and regulatory perspectives
• Experience of working in a complex, international corporate culture
• Proficient English communication skills, both written and spoken

• Strategic mindset with advanced analytical skills for both quantitative and qualitative information
• Versatile communicator, proficient in stakeholder management, keen situational awareness and able to effectively engage internally and externally, with stakeholders on different seniority levels
• Structured and strategic, able to set agendas and maintain clarity in complex environments
• Have attention to detail and deliver highquality results at pace
