The department’s main purpose is to ensure continuous financial performance focus through transparent reporting and value focused recommendations for Vestas senior management. The department serves as a natural hub between Vestas' senior leadership and the business areas' Financial Performance management teams, thus you will be working with senior stakeholders across the full Vestas value chain in the pursuit of 

 

Responsibilities

  • Acting as the Finance lead in Vestas Strategy Process and facilitate Long Term Financial value creation in Vestas
  • To develop and own the team's Long Term Financial Model (Anaplan application) and engage in developing the Group's Capital Allocation efficiency
  • A natural extension is also the involvement in defining the Group's incentive programs to ensure targets are aligned to strategic priorities near and long term
  • Finally, you will serve as back up for other team members on recurring 18-month Rolling Forecasting & Reporting activities (P&L and Cashflow/Balance) and be involved in cross-functional tasks

 

Qualifications
To meet the expectations of this role, we believe that you have the following experience:

  • Educational background in finance, controlling, or comparable fields
  • We expect you to have solid experience with planning process ownership - understanding the interaction between financial planning and operational planning, preferably with experience from working in an IBP environment
  • Further, good understanding of P&L; Balance sheet & Cash flow accounting in combination with a keen motivation for Performance Management are prerequisites for excelling in this role
  • Experience from an FP&A function in an international company
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing

  • A focus on refining your own performance and the team's deliverables and accountability for the team's tasks
  • Proficient commercial understanding and a thrust for shareholder value creation across the value chain - towards peers in Finance as well as other key functions
  • You show an active interest and curiosity in the Vestas value chain - and use this as an entry gate to form your network
  • Lastly, we expect you to exercise solid communication and stakeholder management skills - ensuring alignment across functions and being capable of engaging with senior leadership in Vestas
