Vestas Technology & Operations > Supply Chain > Global Inbound and Service Operations
You will be part of Vestas' Global Supply Chain organization, in our Global Inbound and Service Operations department, which is responsible for the global transport operations into our factories. The function is accountable for the inbound transport to our onshore factories - how we operate and perform both operationally and financially. The function will be responsible for driving continuous cost optimization, process framework, and performance management of the way we operate with our key logistics suppliers as well as the governance.
Responsibilities
For this role you are expected to:
- Monitor and ensure global and regional performance for transport and customs inbound to factories
- Be single point of contact towards global procurement ensuring factories requirements reflected in global contracts as viable
- Perform analysis, solution design and implementation on optimization initiatives (processes, systems, and network)
- Define supply chain targets and initiatives to meet Vestas' cost-out commitments
- Govern that our SOP and P2P process is updated and adhered to
- Collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders ensuring operations run smoothly
- Ad-hoc projects
Qualifications
- 5 years+ of experience from working with global logistics and transport
- A relevant academic background at Masters' level where transport and/or supply chain management has been an integrated part
- Experience from analysing and optimising global supply chains including measurable results
- Hands-on experience from global logistics and transport
- Experience with coordinating and managing projects
- Experience from working in an international corporate culture with English as main language

We also expect you to be able to work independently and take ownership of the work you are doing. You can expect to be measured on your performance on your ability to establish standardized level of global transport operations and how well you manage the operational and financial performance.
