Manufacturing and Global Procurement > Global Q&HSE > Supply Chain & Transport HSE
Global HSE plays a strategic role at Vestas. Global HSE sets the playfield and the minimum HSE requirements globally, and provides global governance. Global HSE ensures the overall end-to-end Vestas HSE Management, Controls, Assurance and Performance in close collaboration with the Regions in line with the Vestas Strategy & Values.  The function actively promotes the risk-based approach to HSE across the organisation.
 

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Head of HSE in ensuring the Global HSE Strategy and plans are embedded Supply Chain & Transport and defines the HSE tender and contracting supplier HSE requirements in Supply Chain & Transport
  • Supports the organization as SME and Business Partner for Supply Chain & Transport HSE matters and performs HSE Assurance audits and also be able to perform or evaluate Transport Safety Risk Assessments
  • Assists the Commercial, Engineering and Operations Department in their dealings with Clients in all issues concerned with HSE at work
  • Carries out analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans
  • Collaborates with the Vestas Transport insurance and perform Loss Prevention trips worldwide 
  • Continuously improve the Safety Culture in Supply Chain & Transport (also through trainings and creation of materials)
  • Monitors and manages CO2 improvement initiatives

 

Qualifications

  • Relevant Bachelor's Degree 
  • 10-15 years experience primarily within transport and logistics in a large, multinational, matrixed organization
  • Fluency in English is required
