Global Service Operations Business Finance serves as a business partner between Vestas' senior leadership and the business areas.

The Finance Business Partner (FBP) partners closely with Service Operations to provide financial insight, drive performance, and support decision‑making across service activities.

The role acts as a strategic advisor and sparring partner to operational leaders, supporting value creation, cost discipline, and financial governance.

 

Responsibilities

In this key role, you will act as a trusted sparring partner while ensuring compliance with financial governance, policies, and controls.

Your main responsibilities will be

  • Partner with Service Operations leadership and key stakeholders to provide financial insight and decision support
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes for Service Operations in collaboration with business stakeholders
  • Challenge assumptions constructively to ensure plans reflect operational realities
  • Maintain rolling forecasts and scenario analyses to support dynamic decision‑making
  • Provide visibility on key service cost drivers, capacity impacts, and financial risks
  • Analyze financial and operational performance, explaining variances and service margin development
  • Support business cases and investment decisions related to service, O&M, and capacity initiatives

 

Qualifications

To meet the expectations of this role, we believe that you bring the following experience

  • Financial Background, master’s degree within business administration or equivalent
  • Extensive experience from a similar role and from a global, corporate environment
  • Solid experience in Process Management
  • Deep knowledge in finance, audit, budgeting and accounting
  • Solid knowledge in compliance
  • Advanced experience using MS Office Suite, SAP, BI, and Anaplan
  • Full proficiency in English (written and verbal)

Additional information
