We are seeking a Cybersecurity Risk Manager to join our global digital team, playing a key role in strengthening our security posture while supporting a company committed to driving a sustainable future.
We take a modern approach to strategic, quantitative risk management and are advancing this across the enterprise, as well as within our products and services. This enables better integration and more informed decision-making regarding security investments for both Vestas and our customers.
We are now looking for a Cybersecurity Risk Manager to join our team, where you will be part of a diverse, forward-thinking, and purpose-driven organization.
We want to provide repeatable, value-driven, actionable cyber risk insights that improve strategic decision-making and safeguard the digital and physical foundations of our business and customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and mature Vestas' enterprise-wide cyber risk management discipline to deliver risk insights to the organization & customers
- Identify, assess, and monitor cybersecurity risks across systems, processes, and supplier landscape
- Collaborate with global business units to ensure risks are understood, documented, and mitigated effectively
- Utilize advanced analytics and AI to accelerate the delivery of insights to consumers
- Facilitate risk workshops, support security assessments, and guide stakeholders in implementing controls
- Use standard risk methodologies and frameworks, like ISO31000, to support the development of reporting, risk dashboards, and executive-level insights to support decision-making
- Contribute to continuous improvement of cyber governance processes, policies, and compliance initiatives and advance integration of cyber risk management into commercial purposes and pre-sales, enterprise risk assessments & product management
Qualifications
- Hold a degree in fields such as Information Security, Intelligence & Cyber Studies, Engineering, Business, Data/Analytics, or a related field
- Bring 5-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT risk management, or enterprise risk functions
- Have solid understanding of risk methodologies (e.g., ISO 27005, NIST RMF, FAIR) and security controls
- Possess solid analytical skills and experience with tools such as Power BI, GRC platforms, or similar
- Have a deep understanding of the geopolitical threat landscape

Additional information
Your work location will be Aarhus, or Copenhagen, Denmark, where other team members and stakeholders are located. You are expected to work in-office most of the time. You should expect approximately 25 annual travel days in this role.
