You will work in Vestas Service business area and manage the development of OT and Cyber Security Services. This position sits within Global Service Commercial, under Plant and Energy Solutions Product Development. The responsibility of the department is to define and develop plant, cyber and digital service offerings for selling long term service agreements and other contractual service offerings within the renewable energy sector. Cyber security is an important strategic initiative that supports Vestas' vision to be a leader in renewable energy solutions and shall ensure long-term profitability and competitiveness of Vestas` Service business.
Responsibilities
As a Cyber Services Product Engineer, you work with global and regional cross-functional teams to define and position cybersecurity products and services. You act as the Global Service Commercial representative, ensuring Vestas’ cybersecurity offerings are engineered effectively for the market.
- Translate global cybersecurity legislation, standards, and customer expectations into clear service requirements and designs. The role also involves ensuring service perspectives are included in technical solution development and facilitating cross-functional alignment when trade-offs are needed
- Bring scalable, standardized cybersecurity service products to market with a focus on efficiency, risk optimization, and value creation. This includes producing technical documentation and contributing to both commercial and customer-facing materials
- Shape a long-term service roadmap that aligns with business strategy and stakeholder expectations. The role includes analyzing competitors and industry trends, and packaging technical elements into compelling, market-relevant offerings for different customer segments
- Support product launches, lead internal trainings, and act as a subject matter expert for sales teams post-launch. Additionally, you contribute cybersecurity expertise throughout the product lifecycle and can assist in responding to customer and sales inquiries if required
Qualifications
We hope you can reflect yourself in the following professional qualifications:
- You have worked in a commercially Cyber Security oriented position before -
- Through experience, you have established a strong understanding of networking technologies, SCADA, digital products and Cyber Security
- You have an education in Computer Science, IT, OT, Engineering or related
- You have a good understanding of global Cyber Security standards
- You are highly proficient in English, both written and spoken
