Vestas Factory

Join Vestas’ Global Contract Management team and help shape how large scale wind projects are delivered worldwide. This is a strategic, global role focused on improving standards, governance, and commercial discipline across onshore and offshore projects. You will use real project delivery experience to create practical frameworks that support regional teams and protect value at scale. If you're motivated to redefine contract management approaches, this position offers the platform to guide how it's done today and tomorrow.

Sales > Global Customer Project Execution > Global Contract Management

Customer Project Execution, CPX, is responsible for Vestas’ end to end customer project delivery, partnerships, and accountability for Power Plant Solutions across both Onshore and Offshore wind turbine projects, enabling sustainable energy solutions across five global regions.

Within CPX, Contract Management is essential for safeguarding commercial value through global standards, enhanced governance, and consistent, disciplined execution across regions. The Global Contract Management team acts as a centre of knowledge, driving alignment, improving processes, and supporting regional teams in effective contract execution, risk mitigation, and value optimisation.

This is a global, strategic function. It is not site based or transactional and does not manage individual project contracts. Instead, the team focuses on continuous improvement, capability building, and raising the overall maturity of contract management across Vestas’ project portfolio. By turning project experience into scalable best practice, the function helps safeguard value, reduce risk, and improve delivery performance worldwide.

We are looking for someone who understands the realities of project delivery and is ready to help shape how contract management is done now and in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Apply project side contract management experience to improve ways of working at a global level
  • Translate functional strategy into practical frameworks, tools, and clear guidance for regional teams
  • Develop, maintain, and improve contract management standards, templates, and governance materials
  • Engage with regional teams to understand how contract management is applied in practice
  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and inefficiencies across regions and define practical solutions
  • Support the rollout and adoption of tools, systems, and agreed ways of working
  • Drive initiatives forward to completion, ensuring outcomes deliver real and measurable improvement

Qualifications

  • Degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or equivalent experience
  • Practical experience in contract or claim management within large scale construction, infrastructure, or energy projects
  • Solid understanding of contract execution, risk management, and commercial principles including claims and variations
  • Working knowledge of FIDIC or similar international contract frameworks
  • Background as a Contract Manager, Quantity Surveyor, or Claims professional within construction or energy environments
  • Fluency in English; additional languages and certifications (e.g., IACCM, Prosci) are a plus

Competencies

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and see tasks through to completion with minimal oversight
  • Solid communication and stakeholder management skills with confidence working across regions and cultures
  • Comfortable shifting priorities while consistently delivering results in shifting circumstances
  • Solution oriented mindset with a keen interest in improving ways of working and solving complex challenges
  • Digitally proficient and comfortable working with modern tools, systems, and data to support decisions
  • Commercially aware with a solid understanding of contracts, risk, opportunity, and business impact
  • Detail focused and quality driven, producing clear, accurate, and well structured outputs while maintaining high standards
