We have an opportunity to join the Vestas Service Finance Business Performance Management team, located in Copenhagen. The department's main purpose is to ensure strategic alignment, financial discipline & benefit realization throughout the service segment through robust planning, target-setting and financial insights that enable informed decision making for Vestas senior management. The department is a newly established function which serves as a business partner between Group FP&A and the service organization; thus, you will be working with stakeholders across the Vestas value chain in the pursuit of continuous performance improvement and delivering on the Group's strategic plans.

 

Responsibilities

In this key role, you will act as a trusted sparring partner while ensuring compliance with financial governance, policies, and controls.

Your main responsibilities will be

  • Acting as the financial planning and governance authority for assigned service initiatives and planning cycles within Global Service, in alignment with Group Finance principles, policies, and methodologies
  • Challenge assumptions, ensure financial discipline, and provide independent financial insight to support informed decision‑making, while not holding commercial ownership or execution responsibility
  • Manage scenario planning and strategies to help direct the way forward  
  • Frequently engage in cross-functional and cross-regional dialogues with counterparts across the organization

 

Qualifications

To meet the expectations of this role, we believe that you bring the following experience

  • Financial Background, Master degree within business administration or equivalent
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
  • Understanding of investment governance, financial controls, and compliance
  • Advanced systems skills including MS Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint), SAP, BI tools, and Anaplan.
  • Full proficiency in English (written and verbal)

  • Attention to detail and ability to build transparent, well‑structured financial models

Additional information
