Process Improvement Partner, Commercial

Global Process Management is a team of specialists responsible for developing and governing the landscape of service processes, systems and master data, to increase customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Best practices are leveraged from across the global service business, the wider Vestas organisation and other industries. We are placed in Vestas Service, Digital Transformation. 


The commercial business areas of Maintenance, Parts & Repair and Fleet Optimisation have aggressive growth plans, which require specialist knowledge and experience to operationalise into efficient processes that delight our Customers.   


We are looking for a Process Improvement Partner for Commercial E2E Business Services. 


Responsibilities
You will be responsible for shaping activities in all areas of the Service business to reflect commercial priorities and you will develop specialist capabilities within our high transactional business area.  


As a process specialist, you will be responsible for process management and process development within the transactional Service Sales business – a business area that Vestas is looking to transform completely in order to achieve aggressive growth targets. You will be expected to drive change and influence the direction of the transactional Service Sales business and be heavily involved from a process perspective in shaping several strategic initiatives Digital self-services (VestasOnline) digital customer support initiatives and e-commerce. 


Example of operational responsibilities include:

  • Manage global processes within commercial service sales, high transactional area
  • Define and drive a roadmap of process improvements, in collaboration with interfacing business process specialists, business stakeholders and IT development parties
  • Participate as business process specialist in global strategic projects ranging from master data projects, product information systems, customer engagement and contract mgt. systems and more
  • Define business requirements into Global IT development projects and programs, to ensure system workflows support commercial targets
  • Evaluate IT solution designs against business requirements
  • Drive Vestas Service global forum for transactional sales to achieve process improvements and process standardization globally

Your workplace will be in Copenhagen or Aarhus and you will have the opportunity to work closely with the full global service sales team and management and Vestas' digital transformation entity

 

Qualifications

The right candidate has worked in a similar role, and/or as a commercial management consultant.  
We expect you have:

  • Experience leading sales process change globally
  • Navigated in large projects with multiple global stakeholder groups
  • Experience with digitalisation of sales & customer channels 
  • Excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal

Furthermore, it is an advantage if you have:

  • Worked with Service Sales in an engineering industry
  • Customer or Contract Management experience
  • Experience widely with processes supporting the e-commerce area

  • Is willing to work on local time to assist global colleagues where needed
  • Will take on accountability and work proactively to identify what needs to be done and delivering reliably to deadlines
  • Works calmly under pressure, with a solution-driven mindset
