Global Service business of Vestas is continuously growing and has strategic importance. With our corporate strategy "Global leader in Sustainable Energy Solutions" we have set ambitious growth targets for the Service business in the coming years. Achieving such targets requires a fundamental shift in how we operate - commercially as well as operationally.
You will join a small, global team and be responsible for ensuring we have the right products and services available to sell in our sales regions, and through our eCommerce channel. 

 

Responsibilities


Vestas aims for the most complete assortment with a best-in-industry customer experience. More specifically your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure we have the right spare parts in the portfolio. This includes using Insights & Analytics to see what customers are searching for in our eCommerce channel, gather and manage requests from customers as well as internal stakeholders, manage obsolete and replaced parts, proactively evaluate new turbine platforms to expand into etc.
  • Ensure all parts are sellable, with the right documentation, right OEM/manufacturer numbers and forecasted correctly with a competitive lead time etc. 
  • Be in close dialogue with the regional sales teams to keep them updated on changes in the portfolio and collect feedback
  • Work closely with Marketing to ensure we have the required sales collaterals and support Marketing with campaigns
  • In close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, create logics for automating the identification of up-/cross sell opportunities in the eCommerce channel
  • Be the commercial interface to the Procurement, Supply Chain and eCommerce teams to ensure a seamless and fast process from a parts request until we have the part sellable in the portfolio and at the right markets
  • Evaluate what business model to be used for different product segments and markets
  • Work closely with the pricing team to continuously ensure strong price competitiveness
  • Support the business planning and development of business cases for various initiatives

 

Qualifications
On a professional level, we expect you to have the following qualifications:

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree combined with at least 3 years of experience from a similar position, preferably in an international B2B context 
  • Product Life-cycle Management (PLM) experience or similar from product enrichment and category "operations" job
  • Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing
