Vestas Eastern Europe and Austria (part of Vestas Northern & Central Europe) is a Sales Business Unit covering Austria and Eastern Europe countries including Romania. We are responsible for the sales, installation and service of wind farms throughout these regions. As a Blade Technical Planner you will be a direct support to Site/Area Supervisor in setting up the maintenance plan. This role is responsible for ensuring an optimal level of execution of all service plans and progress reporting to Customer Service Management and the Service Manager. 

 

Responsibilities and tasks

  • Be responsible for site performance monitoring
  • Prepare and facilitate the creation of technical reports or root cause analyses
  • Level the capacity across areas based on master plan
  • Maintenance plans are kept updated for all turbines covered by service contracts
  • Receives inputs and issues service orders based on service contracts
  • Create a 24 month master plan
  • Ensure all task lists are maintained and updated
  • Weekly calls with all area schedulers (sites, technical support, predictive maintenance, technology)
  • Pre-bundling of all service orders
  • Master data management
  • Control and monitoring of utilization factors and optimization
  • Manage implementation of main component upgrades

Qualifications

  • A technical bachelor degree or equivalent in electronics/mechanical technology plus 2 years of electro-mechanical repair experience
  • Relevant experience from planning, scheduling, or business process management
  • Experience from field operations, customer service skills are necessary
  • Ability to guide and train others including design of training sessions and educational processes
  • Mastering coach and development of direct reports
  • Ability to monitor performance and capacity
  • Analytical approach and business oriented
  • Ability to optimize and drive improvement in the planning of service activities on an overall level
  • Medium level English language necessary
  • Demonstrated leadership capability is essential
