Vestas Factory

The LATAM TCI Procurement team is responsible for supporting the delivery of Vestas projects across the region. The department ensures the availability of cost-effective, compliant, and reliable service solutions covering transportation and construction scopes (vessel, port, inland transport, cranes and labor).

This position will report to the LATAM Procurement Sr. Manager.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Execute end-to-end procurement activities for logistics and construction services, including sourcing strategy, RFQs processes, negotiation, and contract sign.
  • Define and implement sourcing strategies aligned with project requirements, regional market conditions, and Vestas objectives.
  • Manage commercial negotiations with suppliers to secure optimal terms in cost, quality, delivery, and risk allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on scope, specifications, timelines, and contractual frameworks.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including performance monitoring, supplier development, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with Vestas' procurement policies, ethical standards, and governance requirements.
  • Support the project execution by early identifying risks and opportunities within logistics and construction scopes.
  • Contribute to cost-out initiatives and continuous improvement of procurement processes and tools.
  • Ensure transparency and proper documentation throughout the sourcing and contracting lifecycle.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant experience in procurement or strategic sourcing within logistics, construction, or project-driven industries.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing service contracts and supplier negotiations in a regional or international environment.
  • Solid understanding of logistics (project cargo) and construction services (civil works, cranes and installation).
  • Experience with ERP and procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba) is plus.
  • Intermediate/Advanced in English
