Global Supply Chain Planning & SIOP > Service Supply Chain Business Partner > SSCBP Global Operations


At Vestas, Service Supply chain Global Ops, we are constantly optimizing the service supply chain in order to deliver on time to our customers, with optimal inventory levels. It is an ever developing task in a progressive environment. Responsible for operational growth in warehouse and distribution related tasks. Liaise with related parties to ensure GI is done one time and Handle system related configuration to ensure reliable outbound from global MRP locations. Define delivery concepts and network setup to meet customer requirements, Delivery plan for all materials for the service business, across the value chain, and project management of continuous improvement initiatives within supply chain.

 

Responsibilities

  • Set strategy and direction (in line with Organizational requirements) to support global logistics operations
  • Overall responsibility and accountability for the management of OTIF (On time in Full)- Reliability
  • Work closely with Global logistics and regional teams to manage escalations and avoid delays in shipment
  • Responsible for ensuring the integrity of APO settings and defuse any system delays in the supply chain
  • Mentor the warehousing and distribution team and show strong inclination towards team building
  • Perform RCA and liaise with the Regional and Area warehouses to Implement corrective action and preventive actions to meet OTIF Reliability targets

 

Qualifications

  • Preferably graduate/postgraduate in any stream having experience in Supply chain processes
  • 10 + years of experience in Supply Chain process and demonstrate understanding of the value chain
  • Solid IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Deep knowledge of SAP MM and ECC modules
  • Basic understanding of warehousing and distribution activities
