This role is part of Engineering & Business Service Center, SCM.
EBSC SCM supports Direct material Buying, Production Planning and CAPEX buying & Logistics coordination for all Vestas Factories across the globe. This is a centralized offshoring team based at Chennai.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage and partner with internal and external teams to define and implement solutions to improve existing processes
• Identify, analyze and solve complex business tasks where analysis of different scenarios or data is required to provide a recommendation and drive the implementation
• Identify and articulate trends, opportunities and potential risk areas
• Ensure network capacities are known & mapped
• Ensure rules and assumptions are uniform across all processes
• Drive initiatives to improve and/or maintain data quality

Qualifications

• A relevant academic background, e.g. Master's degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Economics or similar
• Relevant experience of 12 to 15 Years of working within a complex Supply Chain in a global environment 
• Advanced IT skills in Microsoft packages including Power BI and Power Query, SQL and SAP Analytics Cloud Experience Desired. 
• Experience with processes regarding Supply Chain, Planning or Transportation
• Experience with maintaining an overview in complex datasets without losing an eye for the details 
• Good communications skills and fluency in English, both verbally and in writing

• You are mastering Data Visualization, Process Improvement and Root Cause Analysis and able to communicate at all levels
• You have a strong drive and are able to influence and deliver results in high quality
• You are structured with a good overview and able to juggle several tasks simultaneously without losing your eye for details
• You have excellent communication skills across multiple organizational levels
• You have the ability to provide facts about our business processes in an E2E operational perspective
• You have a pragmatical mindset and can work independently 
• You can keep the overall perspective and have a pragmatic approach to changing circumstances.
• You are mainly team-oriented, but still able to demonstrate enthusiasm for taking on responsibility and achieving results on your own.
• You are keen on working in a multicultural environment
