Service, ASP > Service Operations > Service and Construction Academy

 

APAC Technical & Safety Training is department within APAC Service Operations responsible for competence development of personnel working on Vestas' construction & Service sites across Asia pacific regions.  We run a variety of training courses at our innovative Training centers as well as onsite to assist the training needs of our internal & external customers i.e. Vestas employees as well as the employees of our customers & sub-contractors.
 

Responsibilities

  • Coordination with stakeholders to collect training forecast, evaluating training demand, verification of pre-requisites and making training plans based on the forecast
  • Effective use of IT tools used for learning management system (SuccessFactor) for course booking, supervising participants booking & attendance, supporting instructors with course test, follow-up on course completion, issue of certificates, etc. 
  • Maintaining & updating training records of technicians, analysis and reporting of training data, KPIs, etc., to training management as well as stakeholders
  • Arranging stationeries, printing materials such as handouts, certificates, etc., (customers' / sub-contractors' training), refreshment & other admin requirements for the department from time to time
  • Creating Purchase orders ( PO) /Purchase requisions (PR) for goods & services purchased and follow up including Goods receipt, payment follow-up
  • Admin support to colleagues, guests and customers (internal & external) with regards to Visa process, Hotel booking, transportation, etc.
  • Other admin / Finance related activities such as inter department cost transfer, pre- approval verification of reimbursement forms, etc.
  • Organizing / hosting meetings and events in the department and in the company
  • Coordination with external vendors for trainings and other requirement
  • Support & coordination with stakeholders, external vendors/suppliers, customers and other training centers

 

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in an administrative position with experience of co-ordinating with various stakeholders
  • Proficiency in English, Tamil & other Indian languages

 

Competencies

  • To be a team member with positive attitude
  • Communication skills - Good command over English - oral & written
  • Good interpersonal skills coordinating within the team and with other stakeholders
  • Computer skills_ proficiency with MS office and SAP, Knowledge in Successfactor 
  • Time management
