Global Service Operations -> One Tool Unit -> One Tool Onshore

 

The Global Tools Department operates six Tool Warehouses across multiple regions worldwide, including the APC IN regional setup. The Tools Warehouse supports Installation & Commissioning activities with project tools and provides Operation & Maintenance tools to the Service organization.

Responsibilities

The Tools Coordinator ensures accurate and timely delivery of tools to Construction, Service, and Special Project sites. Serving as the central point of contact for tool orders and logistics, the role manages outbound deliveries, monitors project requirements, and supports stakeholders through SAP operations, planning coordination, and cross-functional collaboration.

 

  • Oversee tool deliveries to Construction, Service, and Special Project sites
  • Ensure housekeeping, data accuracy, and order completeness for all tool movements
  • Consolidate and release Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) for site deliveries
  • Coordinate outbound logistics, shipment planning, and container dispatch
  • Attend project planning meetings and update tool-related project timelines
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for daily tool order requirements
  • Track tool demand and provide timely support to project stakeholders
  • Act as logistics liaison for urgent and critical tool needs
  • Serve as entry point between Construction/ Service teams and Tools Warehouse operations for both supply and returns of the Tools
  • Facilitate contact with 1st‑line support when technical tool assistance is required
  • Transfer container shortages to Project Builder and ensure shortage visibility
  • Support the Demand Planner / Key Account Manager and Financial Manager on site‑to‑site movements, project tracking and reconciliation

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3–7 years of experience as a Buyer in an end‑to‑end Supply Chain Management environment
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Expertise in SAP (MM module preferred) with strong analytical skills
  • Experience in data handling, reporting, and query management  
  • Strong English communication skills—written and verbal  
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities
