Digital Engineering & Product Lifecyle is a part of Digital Solution, and accountable for developing and managing digital solutions within the area of Industry 4.0 and Product Life Cycle Management - from management of master data to utilization of extended reality, simulation and configuration tools, and Industrial IoT. Test & Verification is responsible for test planning and execution, and development of test strategy for the Product Area. As test manager you are accountable for testing, in at least one product teams - this includes quality and test advocacy, resource planning and management, and resolution of issues that impede the test effort.

 

Responsibilities

  • Test planning, execution and reporting incl. stakeholder communication 
  • Develop and refinement of test operating model and strategies in collaboration with SMEs 
  • Develop, educate and support product teams within the testing domain
  • Manage resources for test planning, preparation and execution
  • Define testing scope for development. Participate in product design reviews to ensure system testability and overall quality
  • Improve quality, efficiency and effectiveness in testing through high-level of re-use, latest technologies and tools, and use of automatization 
  • Create and support in the creation of manual test cases and automation test scripts
  • Prepare data and systems for test

 

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's or master's degree within Engineering, IT or relevant education
  • ISTQB Foundation certification or similar is required
  • ISTQB Test Manager certification or similar is desirable
  • Minimum of 6-10 years of experience as test lead or manager is desirable
  • Experience in unit testing framework like Junit or similar is beneficial
  • Knowledge/Experience with SAP PLM is beneficial
  • Knowledge/Experience with PTC Windchill is an asset
  • Experience with agile development methodologies is beneficial 
  • Effective communicator in both technical and non-technical contexts 
  • Solid experience of software testing methodologies, testing lifecycle, and quality assurance processes
  • Solid experience working with testing tools of different kind is advantageous
