Global Predictive Monitoring is part of Global Service Operations, Quality & HSE and plays a critical role in improving wind turbine reliability, availability, and performance through proactive condition monitoring and predictive maintenance practices. 

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader - Global VTM & Oil Monitoring to lead a team responsible for SCADA-based turbine monitoring, operational parameter diagnostics, and oil condition monitoring activities. This role will drive operational excellence, quality, stakeholder satisfaction, team development, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring safe and effective service delivery.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team focused on SCADA & Operational Parameter Monitoring and Oil Condition Monitoring
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, accountability, innovation, teamwork, and continuous learning
  • Drive predictive maintenance strategies using SCADA, operational parameter, and oil monitoring insights
  • Oversee monitoring and diagnostics of wind turbine health using SCADA data, controller signals, alarms, event logs, and lubricant analysis
  • Lead standardization, process optimization, quality, and efficiency improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate with global technical leaders, service operations, engineering, and field teams
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Lead deployment of projects, tools, systems, and operational initiatives
  • Drive team competency development through coaching, mentoring, and knowledge sharing

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Energy Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Wind Energy, Condition Monitoring, or Remote Operations
  • Proven experience in a leadership role, such as Team Lead, Operational Lead, Project Lead, or other people leadership positions or responsibilities
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully leading and delivering initiatives that generate measurable business value
  • Strong ability to drive operational excellence, stakeholder collaboration, and continuous improvement within a technical environment

  • Should demonstrate Team leadership qualities, Handling complicate deliverables with the defined framework
  • Strong people leadership and coaching capability
  • Ability to manage complex deliverables and cross-functional projects
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong understanding of wind turbine systems and operational behavior
  • Knowledge of SCADA monitoring, operational parameters, turbine alarms, and performance analytics
  • Good understanding of Oil Condition Monitoring, lubricant health assessment, contamination control, and component failure mechanisms
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience with SAP data extraction and reporting
  • Power BI and SQL knowledge is an added advantage
