The GCC Service Operations Support function acts as a centralized, 24/7 unit that improves planning efficiency, coordination, and operational consistency across the APAC and LATAM regions. By enabling the end-to-end planning of materials, tools, and staff, this team ensures continuous operational readiness and the timely availability of critical resources. Ultimately, this seamless regional support empowers field execution teams to deliver smooth, uninterrupted service.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end planning quality and execution readiness across all regions
    • Own planning governance, SLA adherence, and service contract alignment
    • Oversee 12-week long-term and 3-week short-term planning cycles
    • Optimize resource allocation, crew composition, and workload balancing
    • Ensure first-time-right work order planning with complete technical data
    • Improve work bundling and scheduling efficiency to increase productivity
    • Ensure tools, parts, and services are ready before crew mobilization
    • Manage cross-functional coordination across Operations, TSE, Contract Management, and Supply Chain
    • Handle escalations and remove planning blockers in a timely manner
    • Track and improve KPIs: planning accuracy, cycle time, utilization, and backlog
    • Build team capability through coaching, standardization, and knowledge sharing
    • Promote continuous improvement, digital adoption, and process excellence
  • Support and sustain 24/7 operational coverage across global regions, ensuring planning continuity across all shifts and time zones.

 

Qualifications

  • Diploma / Bachelor or master's in mechanical / electrical / Any Engineering background
  • 8-12 years of experience in service operations or planning roles
  • Experience in wind industry
  • Background in manufacturing / automobile / electronics service operations
  • Knowledge of entitlement and commercial customer requirements
  • Ability to read technical documents and engineering drawing
  • Proficiency in SAP, Salesforce, and MS Office tools
  • Solid process-driven and structured working approach
  • Good technical communication skills
  • Good time management, self-organization, and resilience

 

Competencies

  • Experienced people leadership and team management in a GCC or global environment
    • Deep technical understanding of wind turbine service operations and planning
    • Proficiency in planning, scheduling, and resource optimization methodologies
    • Advanced analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
    • Advanced proficiency in SAP, Salesforce, and planning systems
    • Effective stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration across functions and cultures
    • Well-developed technical and business communication skills
    • High level of responsibility, accountability, and execution focus
    • Ability to manage complexity, ambiguity, and urgent situations
    • Process discipline, quality mindset, and continuous improvement orientation
    • Working conditions: This is a shift-based role within a 24/7 operations team
    • Flexibility to work rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays is required
