At Vestas, Service Supply Chain Business Partner (SSCBP), we are constantly optimizing the service supply chain in order to deliver on time to our customers, and at the same time have an optimized supply chain with low inventory and efficient set up. It is an ever-developing task in a fast-paced environment. Within SSCBP, Service SIOP has the responsibility to involve in defining and implementing delivery concepts and network setup to meet customer requirements, forecast and planning for all materials for the service business, inventory management maintaining optimal inventory level across the value chain, and project management of continuous improvement initiatives within supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Inventory optimization with ensuring healthy delivery performance
- Driving Demand initiatives by collaborating with internal and external functions
- Implementing Process, tools and address GAP across demand value chain
- Providing Analytical insights and RCA for business decisions
- Leading projects and produce outcomes through timely implementation
Qualifications
- Preferably graduate/postgraduate in any stream having experience in Demand-Supply Planning and Balancing
- 3-6 years of experience from a global international supply chain function within production, Material planning and/or spare parts/service environment
- Hands on experience in applying supply chain principles and methods including reporting
- Solid experience in inventory planning preferably in a global distribution network
- Supply chain certifications (eg: APICS-CPIM , CSCP) preferred but not mandatory
- Should have interest or experience in handling data to extract business insights
- Working knowledge in SQL/R/Python is preferable
Competencies
- Good knowledge in SAP (MM, SD module specifically), MS Excel.
- Analytical approach towards problem solving (8D, Fishbone etc.)
- Basic to Advance statistical knowledge
- Ability to understand the complex supply chain network and its intricacies
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Cross cultural understanding is a must
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Working style should be well structured, proactive, flexible and persistent.
- Ability to communicate complex supply chain information in a simple and transparent manner
- Good system and business understanding
- Ability to work on Ambiguity to provide clarity and sail through the murky water
- Not restricting himself/herself within the Roles & Responsibilities boundaries and willingness to reach out for getting things done
