Service > Global Service Supply Chain > SSCBP Order Handling

 

At Vestas, Service SIOP (Sales, Inventory Operations Planning) we are constantly optimizing the service supply chain in order to deliver on time to our customers, and at the same time have an optimized supply chain with low inventory and efficient setup. It is an ever-developing task in a fast-paced environment..

 

Responsibilities

  • Should have hands on experience in a global supply chain function ideally within the forecast and planning area of a distribution network.
  • Support demand planning process through Forecast validation, Market intelligence validation, Kanban Calculation and set up
  • Preparation of supplier forecast and monitoring the consumption
  • Support supplier performance measurement and improvement
  • Support supplier contract implementation
  • Preparation and maintenance of the control tower
  • Conduct RCA for stockout, OTTR and take mitigation actions
  • Support project in Demand, supply, Inventory balancing process and S&OP Meetings
  • Support and provide inputs to deliver defective returns
  • Evaluating the Kanban, forecast, mitigating the stock out risks, Root cause analysis on the on-time delivery misses, Collaboration with various global stakeholders etc

 

Qualifications

  • Preferably graduate/post-graduate in any stream having experience in Demand -supply planning and Balancing
  • Above 5 years of experience from a global international supply chain function within production, Material planning and spare parts /service environment
  • Hands-on experience in applying supply chain principles and methods including reporting
  • Solid experience in inventory planning primarily in a global distribution network
  • Supply chain certifications (eg: APICS-CPIM , CSCP) preferred but not mandatory
  • Hands-on experience in SAP

 

Competencies

  • Good knowledge in SAP (MM module specifically), MS Excel.
  • Ability to understand the Master data parameters and its implications on the planning side
  • Systematic approach towards problem solving (8D, Fishbone etc)
  • Basic statistics knowledge
  • Ability to understand the complex supply chain network and its intricacies
  • Ability to work on Ambiguity to provide clarity and sail through the murky water
