The Continuous Improvement specialist is responsible for establishing and governing a robust performance management, continuous improvement, and quality framework for the Service GCC.
This role will establish a robust performance management framework, tactical improvement plans, enable process and system improvements, and govern the quality of deliverables from the GCC to ensure consistent, reliable, and value adding outcomes for Service.
The position partners closely with global service stakeholders, regional service, service quality and GCC leadership to ensure performance transparency, improve flow, quality, predictability, and measurable impact across the value chain.
Responsibilities
Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Guide and support continuous improvement initiatives across Service GCC teams
- Identify and address systemic issues impacting:Delivery time and flow and Rework, inefficiencies and Decision latency and escalations
- Apply structured improvement methodologies (Lean, CI, problem solving, Kaizen) pragmatically
- Advance process simplification, standardization, and automation while collaborating with the service transformation team and digital solutions.
- Track benefits and ensure improvements translate into real business impact.
Performance Management & Tactical Execution
- Define and govern performance KPIs aligned to Service objectives (delivery, quality, cost and performance) to support performance management cadence
- Translate performance gaps into clear, time bound tactical action plans with owners and measurable outcomes.
- Ensure performance data is used for decision making and prioritization, not only reporting.
Quality Governance & Assurance
- Define and implement a quality governance framework for GCC deliveries
- Establish quality standards, check points, acceptance criteria, and compliance mechanisms
- Monitor quality trends, defects, and recurring issues
- Coordinate root cause analysis and preventive actions in collaboration with teams
- Ensure quality is embedded in ways of working-not inspected at the end
- Ensure processes are fit for purpose, scalable, and clearly documented
Improvement & Quality Culture Building
- Promote a Improvement driven, quality focused, and learning oriented culture
- Coach teams and leaders on: Using data effectively, Structured problem solving and Continuous improvement mindset
- Ensure accountability without creating unnecessary bureaucracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or master's in finance, operations or business
- Lean six sigma belt certifications
- PMP or Prince 2 trained/certification
- Minimum 10+ years of industrial experience in business operations, continuous improvement and performance management from engineering industry
- Experience in a GCC, shared services, or global delivery organization
- Practical experience in engineering, service, or operations settings
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with global stakeholders

- Practical knowledge of Lean, CI, Six Sigma, or structured problem solving

- Ability to embed quality into processes and systems
- In-depth root cause analysis with a focus on prevention
Analytical & Systems Skills
- Robust analytical skills using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
- Ability to translate data into clear insights and actions
- Systems thinking across end to end service value chains
Stakeholder & Leadership Skills
- Clear, structured communicator with cultural intelligence.
- Persuades using reasoning, evidence, and teamwork
- Comfortable challenging constructively
- Skilled at planning, setting priorities, and seeing tasks through
- Cost, Value & Financial Acumen
- Deep knowledge of cost drivers, productivity levers, and efficiency opportunities in service operations, including DC/MW, LPF&LD reduction, and EBIT recovery.
- Ability to quantify improvement benefits in terms of: Cost avoidance, Cost reduction, Productivity gains, Value creation for Service
- Comfortable working with financial data (budgets, run rate costs, benefit tracking) and experience building simple business cases for improvement initiatives.
- Clear mindset of "value for effort" and prioritization based on business impact
