We are seeking an experienced and results-driven professional to lead our logistics and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing logistics maturity and optimization with the ambition to secure scalable, predictable, and cost-effective inflow of materials into our factories. This role will utilize standardized operating models and leverage strategic partners' capabilities. This role will also focus on developing the logistics organization, supported by standardized ways of working and aligned RACI models (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed)

 

Responsibilities

  • Service delivery in agreed scope of Buying and Transportation Processes
  • Monitoring SOP adherence by process teams and highlight for improvements / Changes with relevant teams
  • Ensure a high level of customer service/support through direct interaction with global stakeholders
  • Initiate and manage special projects supporting process efficiency and cost out
  • Define improvements of internal processes and procedures and support cross functional optimization
  • Establish Governance across teams and stakeholders and implement the KPI's
  • Strategic approach to problems, leveraging resources and cross organizational coordination and collaboration
  • Identify & facilitate Process Transformation and cost out initiatives
  • Identify and drive system improvements / Automation
  • Support / Implement system integration with LSPS and DS team
  • Developing and coaching a team of Transport Coordinators
  • Identify, develop, and implement continuous improvements and bring in best practices across teams
  • Scheduling and organizing workshops with internal and external teams to provide solutions for process roadblocks
  • Close coordination between global, Regional and Factory teams to implement new process and govern process adherence
  • Govern and monitor smooth functioning of defined transportation process and raise early signals when needed
  • Support P2P team in providing solution for repeated / Frequent / prolonged challenges
  • Highlighting the gaps / Areas of improvements with LSPS during reviews and monitor improvement

 

Qualifications

  • Post-Graduation in any discipline or master's degree in business administration
  • Minimum 15 and above years of relevant experience in SCM or Transportation Process involving SCM
  • Knowledge on Supply Chain, Operations and Analytics

  • Ability to establish and develop productive relations and enhance (internal and external) customer satisfaction through dialogue, communication, transparency, and integration Experience with off shoring activities

  • Knowledge in SCM P2P Process - Buying and Transport
