Aerodynamic & Mechanical > Nacelle Module > Nacelle Lifecycle Management

Nacelle Life Cycle Management (LCM) is part of the Nacelle module, which is responsible for a/ driving cost out for all nacelle products b/design maintenance c/ISM and d/ Hypercare. The team is located in Chennai

Responsibilities

• Develop the Cost Out Ideas from Idea Stage to Implementation, conduct cost out workshops (Factory/Supplier/Engineering)
• Solve the Technical Risks
• Align with Value chain stakeholders 
• Participate and take ideas from modules in Quarterly and monthly reviews
• Technical responsible for idea and value creation.
• Review and agree on Business Case elements per idea
• Setup & align tech. Expectations with each idea owners within modules.
• Review & bring all target ideas to a certain maturity level to meet overall targets.
• Setup Technical Reviews in module level

Qualifications

• Master's / Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering / Structural Engineering / Aerospace/ similar fields
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in design & development of dynamic mechanical systems with significant experience in cost out programs
• Experience in Driving Cost reduction with Suppliers and Value Chain 
• Engineering Change Management (ECM)
• Knowledge in ISO standards related to mechanical component design Systems engineering experience

• Quickly pick up on the array of software tools and processes we use in our workflow
• Can develop innovative solutions to the issues we face when performing these analyses
• Including development or introduction of new tools and processes into our workflow
• Have a solid understanding of mechanical systems
• Efficiently communicate with the Engineers
• Succeed as part of a team and that it comes naturally for you to collaborate and share knowledge
