Region APC > Service APAC > Resource Pool Team
People Resource Dept- Part of Regional Operations Support- handles Post-Sales Service Operations including Special repair projects to meet the contractual obligations with customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Vestas Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, policies, instructions, and local regulations in all operational processes.
- Review and verify all necessary documentation before starting work to ensure materials are available, understood, and can be effectively utilized.
- Assemble, configure, disassemble, load, and unload the Blade Access Platform (BAP) as required, following all safety and operational protocols.
- Operate and control the BAP (Blade Access Platform) independently, ensuring full adherence to the manufacturer's instructions for each configuration.
- Maintain the equipment in a clean, organized manner, ensuring it is always in optimal working condition.
- Perform inspections before, during, and after operations to detect any damage to the BAP and related equipment, ensuring safety and functionality.
- Carry out daily, first-line, and preventive maintenance tasks, promptly reporting any issues or damage.
- Complete and submit Maintenance Checklists and Work Record Sheets accurately and on time.
- Preferably having knowledge of wind turbine operations and be ready to work with wind turbine service operations task as and when required.
- Complete work orders and checklists, confirming tasks completed and suggesting improvements for operational processes.
- Take responsibility for the service vehicle, tools, spare parts, and materials, ensuring proper handling and maintenance.
- Document completed work, including the use of spare parts and consumables, and outline any follow-up actions with specific deadlines.
- Ensure that unused or defective materials and tools are returned on time, properly packaged, and accompanied by the correct documentation.
Qualification:
- Diploma or ITI in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and replacing major components in wind turbines, including Uptower blade repairs, (or) equivalentexperience with major infrastructure equipment (such as boilers or cement plants),(or) offshore oil and gas work, especially involving working at height to manage repairs on large components.
- Willingness to work at heights and in remote locations.
Competencies:
- Ability to read, comprehend and write English as well as the regional language
- Willing to travel across different service sites in india with short notices and able to adapt and work on special repair tasks time to time.

Additional Information
- The work location is in PAN India.
- Flexibility to work anywhere in India on short notice, with mobility being a key requirement for this role.
