Global Service Engineering Change Management, Electrical. As ECM Engineer serving as a consultant in the Service Engineering department, your main responsibility is to handle and provide software solutions for the service and maintenance of different turbines in the field.

Responsibilities

• You will work in close interaction and collaboration with our global & regional service teams, platform(R&D) teams as well as other stakeholders.
• You will take part in technical projects following the Vestas stage/gate model. 
• Your main responsibility will be implementing technical service solutions in technical projects as a team member .
• You will be actively involved in investigating and implementing solutions to various requirements from our stakeholders, ensuring tested deliverables complying to Vestas standards.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree such as Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science engineering or related fields.
• Knowledge of Electrical Engineering, Control software with knowledge on basic wind turbine components and ability to interpret Control Algorithms, Electrical schematics/wiring diagrams is needed.
• Skills: C/C++ development | Python | SQL

Competencies

• You need to knowledge-share, learn, assist, guide and coach your colleagues
• Expertise in software development life cycle. 
• Software engineering tools: Proficiency in using tools for development, testing, and version control.
• Networking Knowledge: Understanding LAN and WAN topologies and modern network systems.
• General knowledge of controller hardware, control systems, sensors, and other wind turbine components. 
• Working experience from a global company would be a positive attribute.
• You should be outgoing and communicate with power and trust and find it interesting to work with other people in a large organization 
• You should have a high level of responsibility and get things done mindset and should work in a time-sensitive situation with multiple targets and stakeholders
• Work customer-oriented and can understand the complete business value chain seen from a customer perspective

Additional Information

The intended working place is in Vestas’s office location in Chennai, India. Annually. Remote work is possible for the given role.
