We are looking for a data scientist that will help us discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data, and help us make smarter decisions to deliver even better products. Your primary focus will be in applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems integrated with our products. We need you to find the unknown relation between lagging indicators to key leading indicators which enable to work on lead indicators


Responsibilities

  • Identify key features which effects the Product parameters using machine learning techniques
  • Identify patterns among injuries and observations by using techniques such as association and clustering techniques
  • Reduce features by using techniques such as PCA
  • Develop regression and classification models between product & process parameters
  • Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
  • Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner
  • Identify new areas where models could be developed to improve operational performance
  • Creating automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance
  • Supports the functional performance metrics by collecting, analyzing, and managing data to provide key insights for actionable improvements to the organization
  • Enables performance improvements by building performance dash boards, scorecards & identifying areas to improve from data analysis
  • Formulate definitions for KPIs & PPIs

 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or in a quantitative field such as Computer Science or Statistics 
  • Course/Certifications in Data Analytics/Machine learning (mandatory)
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience

 

Competencies

  • Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as Logistic regression, k-NN, SVM, Decision trees, Nueral networks etc
  • Good applied statistical skills, such as distributions, Hypothesis formulation, etc.
  • Experienced in R or Python. AzureML is an added advantage
  • Experienced working with Structured, Semi-Structured and Unstructured data
  • Require experience in database query (i.e. SQL) and data visualization tools such as PowerBI
  • Good understanding of database principles
  • Can lead and manage projects - especially BI-related development projects
  • Proactive and self-driven
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
