Global Direct Procurement responsible for Sourcing for items in the commodity, identifying, qualifying and engaging with the suppliers, supplier performance evaluation and Business reviews, Supplier Account Plans, Estimate for Forward costing, Contract agreements with suppliers, price negotiation with suppliers, Driving the commodity team and year on year cost reduction.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing the items in the commodity across the globe maintaining the price record and Source list
• Driving the global commodity teams Fasteners and CMT Lead for C-Parts commodity driving to optimize the supply chain, design, cost and quality
• Negotiating cost and contract agreements with suppliers, supplier evaluation and Business reviews and account plans
• Delivering global KPIs on safety, quality and cost
• Aligning with stakeholders cross functionally across R&D, Quality, Finance, Supply chain and Logistics

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Supply chain with a strong Commercial knowledge and with minimum of 8 years of sourcing experience
• Previous experience in working in an MNC Matrix organization working cross functionally

Strong Negotiation Skills, Good Communication skills, Commercial knowledge, Growth mindset, Ability to drive teams, SAP Knowledge, Data and spend analysis, Stakeholder management, Intelligent Curiosity.
