Remote Operations Centers > ROC Chennai > Global Predictive Monitoring- NCE/APAC/MED

 

Global Predictive Monitoring team is part of Global Service Operations, focuses on monitoring wind turbines through the analysis of vibration data and standard signals to evaluate performance and assess component condition. By developing and applying advanced methods, the team identifies potential failures and damages early, playing a key role in optimizing service operations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Primary duties will be monitoring and diagnosing the health condition of wind turbine gearboxes, main bearings, and generators to identify and highlight potential failures or damages before they occur
  • Technical reporting of potential reliability issues and continuous coordination with Service Operations to follow up on system alerts and field actions
  • Improve alert definitions and monitoring templates based on feedback from the field
  • Drive knowledge sharing to promote effective technical solutions across teams
  • Support Service Operations by interpreting predictive models to optimize maintenance strategies
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance monitoring capabilities and operational efficiency

 

Qualifications

  • BE./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech - Mechanical/ Electrical Engineer
  • Level II or Level III Vibration Certification in accordance with ISO 18436-2
  • 5+ years of experience in vibration analysis and condition monitoring, with preferred exposure to SKF, BKV, or TCM technologies
  • Strong knowledge of vibration software, data acquisition systems, sensors, and condition monitoring techniques

 

Competencies 

  • Expertise in gearbox, generator, and bearing failure modes, along with root cause analysis and fault diagnosis
  • Ability to apply analytics to drive performance, yield, and revenue outcomes
  • Effective stakeholder management with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proactive, structured, and self-motivated with a collaborative and result-oriented approach
