Nacelle R&D > Nacelle Module > Nacelle TCM Maintenance

 

TCM Nacelle (Transport, Construction & Maintenance) is part of Aerodynamic & Mechanical department in Vestas Power Solutions (VPS, the Vestas R&D). VPS is the business unit where new product ideas are developed, matured, improved, maintained and tested. VPS operates on a global scale with more than 3,600 employees.
The TCM Nacelle group is a multicultural and diverse team, with engineers of several nationalities and located in different regions all over the word. The team is responsible for developing solutions (tools and support documents) for service of Vestas components worldwide. We are involved in the onshore and in the offshore turbine solutions development.

 

Responsibilities

  • Scrum Master responsibility to enable collaboration and remove blockers to ensure smooth workflows
  • Support on resourcing and booking tasks
  • Select mechanical concepts, define solutions and plan solutions validation 
  • Participate in field testing to validate tools and value chain processes
  • Ensure cross functional collaboration with relevant interface owners throughout the value chain
  • Supervise design risks of your solutions, tools and drawings
  • Ensure communication with suppliers and manufacturing, making sure to meet design targets and timelines

 

Qualification

  • Bachelor / Master's in any engineering specialization 
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience and interest in Scrum methodology or other Agile-related method
  • Experience using Jira or other project planning tool
  • Experience in mechanical design and specification in compliance with relevant international standards
  • Experience in CAD development software

 

Competencies

  • Experience in value chain process definition is beneficial
  • Guided by knowledge & learnings
  • Self-motivated, target focused, team member, creative, organized & structured person
  • Effective communication skills and fluency in English (speaking and writing)
  • Knowledge of transport, installation or maintenance of heavy/complex tools is beneficial
