As part of Digital Business Solutions, the Digital Operations, Fulfilment & Support department supports Vestas strategy & future development by delivering standardized & scalable solutions. We provide support to various Digital Products including Warehouse & Inventory Management, Manufacturing Operations Management, Production Planning & Readiness, Transport Management, Logistics & External Manufacturing and Digital Procurement. Our approach is being open-minded and accessible for business, with a strong emphasis on identifying root causes of challenges & delivering long-term solutions within the Digital Solutions area.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1 support via ServiceNow for SAP Ariba modules such as Procurement, Invoicing, ASN, Supplier Forecasting, and Purchase Orders
  • Ensure timely resolution of tickets and adherence to SLAs
  • Provide functional and technical support for the SAP Ariba Business Network, focusing primarily on Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes within Ariba Business Network and Supply Chain Collaboration modules
  • Demonstrate strong expertise in SAP Ariba - SAP S/4HANA integration (via Cloud Integration Gateway - CIG), with a focus on Order Collaboration, Advance Shipping Notifications (ASN), Order Confirmation Approval (OCA) , Subcontracting and Ariba Forecasting processes
  • Primarily responsible for supporting Procurement and Supply Chain Planning Systems,Tools and platforms including SAP S4/Hana/MM & Ariba)
  • Act as a liaison between end users & suppliers to facilitate clear communication & efficient issue resolution
  • Review & assess existing and proposed system solutions and business processesrecommending and implementing in both process and technology to effectively address business challenges
  • Analyze and resolve complex integrated system issues within agreed SLAs by collaborating with relevant colleagues & business stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality solutions
  • Analyze & interpret Ariba reports & dashboards to support business insights & decision-making
  • Develop tests for SAP Ariba modules, components, and sub-components performingpost-implementation analysis throughout the system landscape to ensure accuracy in areas affected by system development
  • Evaluate new updates released by SAP Ariba
  • Perform daily monitoring of CIG integration flows, troubleshooting Purchase Orders, IDoc,and ASN failures through close coordination with business users for resolution
  • Support Ariba integration activities (buyer-side coordination), with a strong understanding of Supply Chain Collaboration modules, ensuring seamless data exchange between Ariba and backend systems
  • Drive Supplier Onboarding for Forecast & ASN processes, ensuring effective enablement,user training, issue resolution, and adoption
  • Execute Workflows/Approval/Tasks assigned to Ariba support (edit/delete etc)
  • Assist in integration testing, documentation, and production deployment, ensuring smooth implementation and alignment across systems
  • Develop and deliver training for end users and suppliers, including new users onboarding and conducting refresher sessions on Ariba Network modules and functionalities
  • Create and maintain user documentation, including Knowledge Base (KB) articles,Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and user guides

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related field
  • 4 to 7 years of working experience in Ariba P2P, Ariba Business Network (supplier, buyer side) and should also have an in-depth understanding of integration with downstream systems & support model , Ariba SLP ( Added Advantage)
  • Deep understanding of SAP Ariba from a configuration standpoint
  • Working knowledge of Systems integration points for SAP Ariba and S4 Hana/MM 
  • Significant Data analysis & process mapping skills
  • Knowledge or experience in Ariba Downstream modules will be an added advantage
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Flexible to work in roster shift schedules

 

Competencies

  • Working knowledge in ServiceNow - Incident Response and Resolution/Incident Management 
  • Strong knowledge in SAP S4 HANA/MM, Ariba
  • Exposure to S4 HANA/MM, SAP-EPD (Enterprise Product Development) will be an added advantage
  • Detail-oriented and able to perform in a demanding environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office, MS Excel, communication, stakeholder management, and business partnering
  • Exhibits a continuous improvement mindset, driving process enhancements while striving for professional growth
  • Ability to coordinate complex priorities and meet deadlines
