ECM Purchasing is responsible for all technical document communication to Suppliers, RFI, RFQ and securing sourcing master data

Procurement > Procurement Excellence > Procurement SSC

Responsibilities

• Read, Interpret & classify released engineering changes, communication to suppliers
• Responsible for Technical support to Suppliers on design queries clarification for ECM changes
• Responsible to validate new design manufacturability with supplier & enrich purchase info record. RFQ - secure that missing master data is enriched (Info records, source lists and quota arrangements) within agreed SLA
• Responsible for Annual RFQ analysis support

Qualifications

• Preferably BE Mechanical or relevant engineering background
• 4 to 5 years Sourcing Experience
• Experience with selection, qualification, negotiation and contracting with suppliers 
• Experience in supplier consolidation and cost out projects 
• Hands on experience in using ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Experience in SAP S4HANA, PLM Windchill is an added advantage

Competencies

• Ability to read, understand and communicate Engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Experience in Engineering Change Management Process
• RFQ to suppliers, Analysis, knowledge on cost levers in castings, weldments commodity
• Fluent in English. (oral & written)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Power point for reporting day to day developments/ reporting
• Ability to plan & prioritize work - also under pressure
• Proven analytical skills
• Building BI Dashboard is an added advantage
