The Project Planning team successfully performs Schedule Management, Project Control, and Inter-department Management (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Transportation and Service). Planning and Scheduling is much more than preparing a single schedule and/or collecting data during the execution. Project Planning is the determination of a project's objectives with identification of the activities to be performed, methods and resources to be used for accomplishing the tasks, assignment of responsibility and accountability, and establishment of an integrated plan to achieve completion as required.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Identify scope and all major milestones based on the contract project schedule.
  • Tender Schedule Support for Sales.
  • Monitoring actual work progress w.r.t planned project Schedule & updating the Site progress in P6.
  • Proactively plan and identify resources for construction activities for smooth execution of the project
  • Project Progress Reporting (Monthly Reports, S-Curves, Weekly (BOP Reports for EPC Packages).
  • Evaluate dependencies and sequences of the construction activities.
  • Timely coordination & expedition of the WTG Transport deliveries to the site.
  • Proactively identify issues that might lead to slippage in schedule & contractual milestones, timely escalation of issues of slippages & delays to higher management and suggest corrective actions.
  • Prepare the Catch-up plan for delayed activities to expedite the progress.
  • Critical Path Reporting.
  • Simulate scenarios based on events/issues/risks.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in Planning, Scheduling, or Control in EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) of Energy or Heavy Infrastructure projects
  • Certified in Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM software.

 

Competencies

 

  • Competency with CPM scheduling software Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM is a must, and SAP ERP software knowledge is a plus
  • Proficient in the MS Office 365 and willing to explore and develop skills in Power BI or SAP Analytical Cloud.
  • Solid verbal and written presentation skills.
  • Outstanding organizational abilities and technical mindset.
  • Fluent in English; good command of technical terms.
  • Effective reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in coordinating skills.
  • Good stakeholder management
  • Delay Analysis
  • Earn Value Management (EVM) - Principles
  • S-Curve Reporting
