The GCC for Service is a newly established team in Chennai focused on supporting operational excellence, financial performance, and value creation across the Service Value Chain. The team acts as a strategic enabler for improving service profitability, reducing Cost-to-Serve (CTS), enhancing productivity, and supporting Service EBIT growth through standardized global processes, effective governance, and data-driven decision-making.

As a key member of the leadership team, this role will support the development of the GCC, on automation, standardization and scalability and support performance management frameworks, and partner closely with Finance, GOM, and regional stakeholders to unlock sustainable efficiencies and business value.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage initiatives to reduce GCC Cost-to-Serve by up to 50% through process optimization, automation, standardization, productivity improvements, and continuous improvement programs
  • Support initiatives that contribute directly to Service EBIT improvement through enhanced operational efficiency, resource productivity, and cost transparency
  • Establish financial performance management frameworks linking operational delivery metrics to business outcomes and profitability
  • Partner with Finance and Service leadership to identify, prioritize, track, and realize cost-saving opportunities and service margin improvements
  • Own the identification, tracking, and realization of business benefits associated with migration, transformation, and optimization projects

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or master's in finance / commerce / business / Any education background
  • 10+ years of experience in Project Management, Business Transformation, Operational Excellence, Performance Management, or Shared Services
  • Demonstrated experience delivering productivity improvements, cost optimization initiatives, and operational transformation programs
  • Demonstrated experience working within matrix organizations and leading multi-disciplinary global teams
  • Solid understanding of financial performance management, business case development, cost-benefit analysis, and value realizati
  • Experience in SSC, GCC, or Global Business Services environments
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, governance, risk management, and organizational change management
  • Experience with Global Operating Model design and implementation
  • Project Management certification (Prince2, PMP, IPMA, or equivalent)
