The purpose of Digital Solutions is to digitally transform Vestas Wind Systems A/S to enable stronger customer focus, scalability and profitability. Digital Solutions are responsible for improving IT efficiency, integrate digital solutions further into its customer offering, improve employees' digital experience and support core processes across the value chain. Digital Engineering & Product Lifecycle, part of Digital Solutions, is accountable for digital solutions within the area of Engineering, Industry 4.0, and Product Lifecycle Management - from management of master data to utilization of extended reality, simulation and configuration tools, and Industrial IoT.

Responsibilties

• Design and maintain the overall architecture of the Value Chain Simulation Tools product. This includes, but is not limited to, Siemens Teamcenter Manufacturing Suite, FlexSim and others.
• Recommend and select appropriate technology to match the requirements of the users and the enterprises principles and guardrails. *Work closely with Product Owner to understand the product vision and users' requirements, and develop solution architecture and technical specifications towards development.
• Collaborate closely with Enterprise and Domain Architects, ensuring architecture documentation and decisions

Qualifications

• A Bachelor or Master's degree within Engineering, IT or relevant education, combined with 5+ years of experience in Digitalisation
• Significant hands-on experience in Value Chain Simulation tools (e.g. Siemens Teamcenter Manufacturing suite, PTC Windchill or others) including development, customization, test, implementation and post assessment etc. User level experience is an added advantage.*Practical experience in handling huge CAD data models and CAD datasets to enable Value Chain Simulation tool products
• Experience in establishing the data flow across various enterprise systems like PTC Windchill, Apriso, SAP or others into the Value Chain Simulation tool product to enable digital manufacturing capabilities supporting the business
• Experience with REST API development
• Knowledge of Flexsim is a benefit
• Knowledge of architecture design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Experience with agile and SCRUM is a benefit
• Fluent in English and able to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation

• Know how to apply design and testing methods and tools
• Have the overview of the complete ecosystem and integrate applications with existing landscape
• Have the ability to analyze and close gaps between current and future- state architecture
• You are motivated, open-minded and willing to learn
