Digital Engineering & Product Lifecyle is a part of Digital Solution, and accountable for developing and managing digital solutions within the area of Industry 4.0 and Product Life Cycle Management - from management of master data to utilization of extended reality, simulation and configuration tools, and Industrial IoT. PTC Products is responsible for developing and managing digital solutions within PLM-suite of PTC. You will engage in a distributed team following SCRUM framework and a product increment strategy.

 

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage stylesheets within the Arbortext environment 
  • Architect, develop, customize and implement customizations related to Windchill SIM and Dynamic documents in PTC Windchill. 
  • Architect, develop, customize and implement solutions to PLM system to improve E2E process of Information Management from authoring to content distribution 
  • In depth knowledge of PTC Windchill SIM module (service information management and part list) 
  • Experience with interface to distribution platform and document management system (SAP DMS) 
  • Develop and maintain authoring stylesheet in Arbortext Editor 
  • Develop and maintain publishing stylesheet in Arbortext Styler 
  • Develop, troubleshoot and maintain Arbortext Publishing engine configurations and stylesheet publishing output 
  • Develop, troubleshoot and maintain publishing rules in Windchill PLM system 
  • Develop and customize PTC Windchill SIM and Dynamic Documents in PTC Windchill 
  • Develop, customize and implement solutions to PLM system to improve E2E process of Information Management from authoring to content distribution

 

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's or master's degree within Engineering, or relevant education 
  • 5+ years of experience within PTC Windchill. 
  • In-dept knowledge of PTC Windchill SIM, Dynamic Documents and Arbortext is required. 
  • Experience with additional solutions like ESI, Connected Work Cell etc. 
  • Knowledge of architecture design principles, patterns, and best practices. 
  • Experience with agile, DevOps and SCRUM is a benefit 
  • Fluent in English and able to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization. 
  • Development experience with significant knowledge on Technical Architecture and Frameworks 
  • Strong Proficiency in JAVA programming languages within Windchill SIM and dynamic documents 
  • Knowledge of Arbortext Styler, Arbortext Editor authoring stylesheet, DITA XML, Document management 
  • Experience with Azure DevOps is advantage 
  • Agile (SCRUM) knowledge is an added value. 
  • Understanding of modularized complex product structures and product configuration
