At Vestas, within the Global Service Supply Chain organization, the Regional Partner function for the AME region is dedicated to continuously optimizing the service supply chain to ensure timely and reliable delivery to our customers. Our focus is on maintaining a highly efficient, agile, and responsive supply chain setup while minimizing inventory levels and maximizing overall operational effectiveness.
The MRP Controlling function in the AME region plays a pivotal role in achieving these objectives. It is responsible for ensuring the on-time availability of materials by effectively aligning supply with internal demand across all service locations and global sites. Operating in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, the team collaborates cross-functionally to support Vestas' commitment to excellence in service execution and supply chain performance.
Responsibilities
- Release purchase orders in a timely manner in accordance with defined processes and SAP ERP release procedures
- Independently manage assigned global MRP areas, ensuring timely availability of materials for internal customers
- Validate demand inputs from stakeholders to ensure accuracy and alignment with supply plans
- Review Rounding values and Minimum order quantities (MOQ), identifying and correcting any inconsistencies
- Support stakeholders in maintaining and enriching material master data
- Own and maintain accurate MRP master data in SAP for assigned materials
- Communicate proactively with internal customers and stakeholders regarding material availability and order status
- Conduct root cause corrective maintenance (RCCM) analysis for missed deliveries and implement corrective actions
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness
- Manage SAP exceptions to ensure alignment between supply and demand while maintaining service levels
- Provide timely updates to stakeholders on part number status, changes, and availability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Hands-on experience with SQL and Excel Macros
- Proficient in working with ERP systems, particularly SAP
- Over 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Creating Purchase orders and maintaining Material Master data

- Solid analytical skills with a sound understanding of supply chain management fundamentals
- Flexible with work hours, with readiness to support night shifts for European and US sites
