Service > SSC - Services > Learning & Development

 

The Learning & Development department operates as a centralized function supporting all areas of the Vestas Global Capabilities Center. Its core role is to define and maintain training standards, frameworks, and best practices that guide how learning is delivered across the organization. L&D team partners with GCC Functions to ensure all training is consistent, effective, and aligned with business needs. Department's scope covers e.g.:

Designing training frameworks and standards applied across all teams
Developing and updating core learning materials in collaboration with subject‑matter experts
Ensuring training quality and consistency through guidelines, templates, and methodologies
Evaluating training impact by collecting feedback, monitoring performance, and refining the learning approach

 

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining training standards, frameworks, and methodologies used across all operational teams
  • Creating and updating core training materials, templates, and guidance in collaboration with SMEs.
  • Establishing quality criteria for training content and delivery conducted by process trainers
  • Evaluating training effectiveness through feedback analysis, assessments, and service performance & quality indicators
  • Supporting functional areas in designing role‑specific learning paths that align with organizational priorities
  • Maintaining the learning governance model, ensuring training is documented, standardized, and regularly reviewed

 

Qualifications

  • Experience in Learning & Development, training design, or instructional design (corporate environment preferred)
  • Degree in Human Resources, Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or a related field is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, learning methodologies, and training frameworks
  • Familiarity with digital learning tools, and modern learning technologies
  • Experience working in shared services, operations, or process-driven environments is an advantage
  • Advanced English communication skills (written and spoken) required for cross‑functional collaboration and documentation
