Responsibilities
- Developing GPEX reporting and rolling it out (owning it end-to-end )
- Data collection planning and building models to predict the results Work with the Digital Solution team and improve all the existing GPEX applications and reporting
- Identify potential opportunities for improvement and automate the process
- Build models to predict the critical variables, Specification, and controls
- Driving the Vestas Lean Methodology - Vestas Production System
- Support the Factories in Deployment of Vestas Production System & identify and initiate lean improvement projects and initiatives;
- Seek out and concretize new ideas, develop & coordinate kaizen activities, & lead factory Lean Capability building initiatives like workforce education & training
- Responsible for managing /controlling product/process-related costs on New Product Introduction (NPI) projects
- Creating business cases for projects, in a way that the decision maker has the best possible overview of the company's impact
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget
- Work closely with all the Vestas functions with effective stakeholder management
- Minimum 50 % of the time traveling to out of India and working in the factories
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor / Master's in any Engineering / Machine Learning / AI / Similar specialization
- Experience with 10 plus years of Development experience in Wind Industry / Automotive/ Heavy Engineering / Other manufacturing industry
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma - Master Black Belt (MBB) / Black Belt
- Experience in Advanced Excel, Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI
- Experience in automating the process in the Wind industry
- Good experience in Statistical Modeling , Forecasting studies, etc
- Relevant work experience on various LEAN Projects & Cost Saving projects
- Demonstrated experience in manufacturing & assembly processes and related cost
- Project Management/MES experience
- Effective stakeholder management
- Operational experience of product data management, multicultural work experience
Competencies
- Application development skills
- Proficient skills in developing reporting
- Demonstrated ability in using Advanced Excel, Python, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI is essential
- Experience in automating the process in the Wind industry
- Good experience in Statistical Modeling, Forecasting studies, etc
- Good to have relevant work experience on various LEAN Projects & Cost Saving projects
- Experience in manufacturing & assembly processes and related costs
- Project Management/ MES experience
- Skilled stakeholder & Operational Management
- Experience in product data management, BoM control and engineering change process
- Multicultural work experience
