We in Operation Excellence work to secure a robust production foundation that enables our Customers to ensure the robust rollout of Quality New products by creating Flow, pull through kaizen improvement workshops to meet the cycle time and takt demands & Kaizen improvements in production and Lean Logistics Deployment

Responsibilities

  • Implementing the Vestas Lean Methodology - Vestas Production System
  • Support the Factories and Construction sites in the Deployment of the Vestas Production System Identify and initiate lean improvement projects and initiatives; seek out and concretize new ideas, develop and coordinate kaizen activities
  • Manage factory Lean Capability building initiatives like workforce education and training
  • Responsible for Managing/controlling product/process-related costs on new product introduction (NPI) projects.
  • Creating business cases for projects, in a way the decision maker has the best possible overview of company impact.
  • Developing project scopes, involving all stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
  • Work closely with all the Vestas functions with stakeholder management

 

Qualifications

  • Relevant Skills and Experience Required Engineering Degree
  • At least 10 years' experience in Automotive/Heavy Engineering or other manufacturing industry. Should have relevant work experience on various LEAN Projects & Cost Saving projects
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is highly valued
  • Experience of manufacturing & assembly processes and related costs.
  • Project Management/MES experience
  • Adept stakeholder management
  • Operational experience of product data management, BoM control, and engineering change process
  • Multi cultural work experience

  • Solid experience in manufacturing & assembly processes and related costs.
