Power Solutions is where new product ideas and technologies are developed, matured, tested and improved. You will be part of the Continuous Improvement Management (CIM) department that operates across Vestas value chain, external suppliers and partners, growing multi-disciplined and cross-functional projects primarily related to product improvement.

 

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain population list
  • Track progress on CIM cases in implementation phase
  • Control & maintain provisions in cooperation with CIM finance
  • Time study of work (input to task list)
  • Provide input and review of Functional Review presentations
  • Review of Work Instructions & Risk Assessment
  • Initiate validation & approval of the affected turbine population list
  • If required attend Steering Committee & Gate meetings
  • Contact for the Sales Business Units (SBU) in the implementation phase 
  • Release and review of customer communication packages & Service Message
  • If required / requested - Prioritize and agree on implementation sequence (implementation plan) with Spare Parts and the relevant SBU's
  • Solution verification
  • Close down CIM cases/projects upon completion
  • If necessary, planning of specialized resources for implementation
  • Update of document package on the CIM portal. (Case summary, Verification & validation plan)

 

Qualifications

  • Engineering or business degree with 8+ years of industry experience
  • Ability to continuously promote the change in the respective organizations - across Business Units, functions and cultures.
  • Ability to enhance customer satisfaction through dialogue, communication, transparency and integration - you know how to establish and develop successful relations with customers (Externally and Internally)
  • Exposure to multi-culture and international organisation is desirable
  • Field experience in Wind Industry especially with Vestas WTGs will be preferred
  • Experience with DMAIC improvement cycle, 6-Sigma, SCRUM and gate models would be a value-added aspect.
  • Exposure to multi-culture and international organization is desired

  • Fluent in English - written and oral
  • Good analytical skills are required
  • Technical interest and flair are preferred

  • Self-motivated and target oriented - proactive and enthusiastic with good attention to detail and willingness to take ownership
