SAE team is responsible for delivering optimized and trusted control solutions for our Wind Turbines including the functional safety. This includes the real-time communication backbone that ties all the distributed control nodes together, the real time operating system of the control nodes and the high-level functionality that control all operation in the turbine. SAE is responsible for maintaining the man machine & plant interface, service functionality, sensing (wind, azimuth, yawing, tower acceleration), AUX power supply & backup. We are a team of around 200+ engineers spread between Denmark, Portugal & India working in a highly innovative technology-centric and process motivated environment


Responsibilities

  • Tech leadership for Creating or Update of TPS technical purchase specifications for LV Panels & LV cables
  • Verify and provide input for Electrical documentations like panel layout, electrical diagrams etc
  • Guide in design of verification plans, procedures, reports, review or update Service & Installation procedures
  • Lead / facilitate supplier interaction for type / routine test on LV panels & LV cables
  • Responsible for the work documented according to Vestas way to market process in control and auxiliary power area.
  • Exposure to EMC / EMI needs to the product
  • Collaboration with entire value chain (Space claim, Cross Function Review & Tech reviews)


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Electrical / EEE / Similar specialization
  • Min 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering designing and building of LV electrical systems
  • Hands on experience on PTC windchill PDM link, Change management system
  • Hands on experience on Electrical drafting tools like Eplan, SEE electrical
  • Hands on experience on RCA / DFMA/FMEA tools is added advantage
  • Experience on PTC windchill / PDM link


Competencies

  • Very good understanding of International standards such as IEC (60204-1 Machine directive), UL, CCC etc
  • Hands on experience on Electrical drafting tools like Eplan, SEE electrical
  • Good in tools such as RCA / DFMA/FMEA. Should have min 2 to 3 hands on experience on RCA / DFMA /FMEA
  • Understanding of product development with knowledge of design phases from concept to validation & improvement
  • Experience with Jira and agile methodologies and project management
  • Innovative English skills (speaking and writing)
  • Experience on change management system
