As a part of Digital Solutions you will be part of a diverse team of people working with developing and implementing shop floor solutions for Vestas Manufacturing globally within the areas of
-Manufacturing Execution,
-Inventory Management,
-Quality Management,
-Maintenance Management,
-Operational Technology,
with the aim of reaching a fully integrated system from control layer to ERP layer (SAP) and with a primary focus on enabling manufacturing operations capabilities and creating value by supporting our maturity journey.
Responsibilities
- You will be contributing to building up our new MES/MOM development chapter, which supports all aspects of the work from idea to final implementation, including requirements capturing, solution designing, development and implementation
- Your primary focus will be on design and development of solutions for manufacturing in close collaboration with your colleagues in Global IT and your team, with the additional goal to build up and coordinate our newly formed Chennai-based development chapter, consisting of you and an additional two developers
Qualification
To qualify for this position, we would like to see the following requirements met:
- A relevant academic educational background (or your experience compensates for this)
- 10+ years of experience within manufacturing engineering/IT/Automation, namely with Delmia Apriso
- Proficient in English, verbally and in writing
Experience with / knowledge of:
- ISA-88 and ISA-95 Enterprise-Control System Integration
- Manufacturing Execution Systems, i.e. Apriso 2020
- Programming (e.g., C#, Java)
Database (e.g., MS SQL)
- Data exchange (e.g., OPC, WEB Services, XML and JSON) or willingness to develop your competencies within these areas
- Quality management systems, i.e. QDA 10
- Asset management solutions, i.e. SAP EAM or Hxgn EAM
- Leadership experience
- SAP experience
